Typhoons Hit Philippines: Calauan, Philippines

Janet Addun watches a rainstorm through the kitchen window of her new Habitat home, in the BayaniJuan sa Calauan community, which provides homes for more than 4,000 Filipino families who relocated from the banks of the Pasig River. She moved here from the Paco Market slum in October, shortly after Typhoon Ondoy brought a month's worth of rainfall to Metro Manila and nearby areas in just a few hours, causing severe flooding and resulting in the loss of many lives and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people. © Habitat for Humanity International/Ezra Millstein
