Children of Mosul: Qayyarah Jeddah, Iraq

Abdulrahman Saleh sleeps on the floor just inside his family's tent at the Jeddah IDP camp. His family has been displaced for 9 months, since their home was completely destroyed. “We left only with the clothes we were wearing. We were in the desert for three days without anything,” says Yaser's mother, Sana Fathi Abdullah Younes. They are one of 400 families that received NFI kits from Mercy Corps on this day; the kit included 6 blankets, 2 jerrycans, a tarp and a rope.
